Dangerous!

Crime rates are soaring year by year and the crimes are not only just simple crimes. They involved the usage of guns and knives. Its is no doubt that you have to be on your guard everywhere in Malaysia. Just in the these three months, several people had been shot dead. The most recent one is the spree killing at a condominium carpark in M'sia when two men and women were shot dead. The gunmen were ruthless, firing multiple shots at the victims but only a few hit them which caused their death.

You've got to be careful once you stepped in the straits of M'sia. You could be a target anytime at anywhere. And the most unfair thing is that the criminals always get away, unpunished. M'sia is just too big and vast and police patrols are seldom seen, (wonder where are they. It would just be your luck when you are the target. Well, unless you do keep a low profile. Wear simple clothing and show no valuables to passerbys. If you put on a branded watch even though it might be fake, you might risk your hand. CHOP! and there goes your watch and you hand. If you are carrying handbags, a motorcyle may zoom pass you and the next moment you realise your bag is gone.

It does not mean that you must judge any particular race to be crime doers. It can be anyone, decent looking or not, once you feel suspicious about someone, try to avoid. And one thing you must always remember if you are driving. Do always lock your door and do not leave your belongings in your car. You might return and find that your windows have been smashed. Technology sure has improved our lives but also helps criminals to do their job cleanly. They have devices that can scan cars to find any electronic gadgets left inside. This saves them time from smashing every car window.

Well its dangerous for girls to walk alone at night too. Rape cases are also very common in malaysia. And are often carried out in dark places or when being alone. A friend of mine recently told us how girls can protect themselves. By using their heels as weapons to break toes or even use perfume to spray at the eyes. One very simple and effective way is kicking the groin. The intense pain paralyses for a few minutes while taking a chance to escape.

And dont bother calling 999, help would never reach on time. The best is that one visit safer places such as Genting or Sunway Lagoon. Also dine and hang out at places near police stations or crowded areas.
