Good News!

After praying as a Church so much for a new building! We finally have one! Dun play play its at Suntec Convention Hall!

On 6 March 2010, City Harvest Church Senior Pastor, Kong Hee announced the location of the new building the Church would be moving into. City Harvest Church has a total membership of more than 30,000 currently holds its meetings at Jurong West and Singapore Expo. Being the largest Christian congregation in Singapore, It has its own building at Jurong West and rents Singapore Expo Hall 8 to hold its meetings. As the Church is growing, a bigger sitting area is needed. Suntec Conventional Hall was a perfect place. It is a mircale and blessing from God!

Why?
1) The church needs 310 million (SGD) to buy part of the area. In other words, co-owners. If you would ever been to Suntec Conventional Centre, its super big. With a size of 25 football fields and 10 times bigger than one Expo hall. With one big building, the Church can now hold its Services, Prayer Meetings, Major Events in one place.

2) No one would have thought that City Harvest Church today would make it that far, this is all the works of God. I mean, 20 people who were once poor and young started the Church in 1989. Who would have thought CIty Harvest Church would be the biggest and prosperous Church in the region.

3) After seeing 26 plots of lands, 19 were unsuitable and a few were unsuccessful. The Church seriously needs a building in the Central area as services are currently held at both ends of Singapore. Some people like me have to travel approx 1 hour 15 min to reach the other end of SG. However, with a Church in the central area, It takes less than 45 minutes no matter where u stay in SG. Three MRT stations are also near Suntec Convention Centre.

15 years ago, back in 1995 when Suntec Conventional Centre was built, Our senior Pastor drove past the area with another Pastor from Aust( Phil Pringle). He told Pastor Kong that one day God would give him this building. And this prophecy indeed came true!

I believe right from my heart that this is the blessings of God. When God blesses you, He'll give you more than what you could contain! I am glad that i helped to make this possible through my sacrifices and servanthood, and that we are the pioneers that helped made this possible for the future generations. Pastor Kong must be the happiest man on this planet right now and thank God for that! All things are possible in God!
