Friends

Nth better to do, so I thought of posting some verses about friends. Friends are the greatest people that God puts into our life. Whenever you need someone to talk to, they will be there. When you had not laughed for a long time, they are there to joke an make you laugh. When are facing difficulties, they pull you up. When you need encouragement, they will strengthen you with encouraging words. It goes on and on and on.

What does God thinks of friends? His Word did show a number of verses.

1) Friends support one another
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls for he has no one to help him up." Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

2) Friends love one another at all times
"A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." Proverbs 17:17

3) Friends spend happy or sad occasions together
"Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep." Romans 12:15

4) True Friends are closer to another even than their own brother
"A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother" Proverbs 18:24

5) A friend that really loves you is willing to make sacrifices for you.
"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends" John 15:13
